NEW Website / Prints

I recently spent the day with the ever-prolific Dan Mumford, screen-printing a drawing.

We were both quite tentative as to how a drawing would translate to a screen-print, but after much experimentation we managed to reach an outcome which we felt to be not only sympathetic to the original drawing, but also one evolved from mere reproduction.



As a result I now have an edition of 50 A1 prints, numbered and signed. These are available for £25, so if you are interested in acquiring one then please get in touch

In other news as of Monday I will be studying for an MA at the Royal College of Art, on the Communication Art & Design course. I am excited about what will happen over the next two years.

Vaults

Two drawings that until today have never seen the light of day. They were developed from previous explorations of mechanical process within traditional drawing. The original works are each A2, in turn I have A2 Giclee prints available of each. Please get in touch if you are interested.

Granta

I was recently commissioned by Granta to produce a drawing for their Summer Issue. It accompanies an essay by author Hal Crowther, looking at the impacts of technology on society.

Something Secret

Painting produced for a project curated by Something Secret, entitled The Heebie Jeebies.

A WAY

Photographs taken from a series I plan to collate into a limited-edition book over summer.

Computer Arts

I am featured in the current issue of Computer Arts Magazine, in an article written by Lawrence Zeegen on the future of Illustration. Available at your local corner store now.

Pick Me Up

I am exhibiting work in the Pick Me Up exhibition taking place at Somerset House between 23/4 and 3/5. Somerset House have commissioned each artist to create an exclusive print, which will be available to buy for the duration of the fair. Below is my piece.

HEAVY Pencil

I'm taking part in the forthcoming Heavy Pencil, this wednesday (10/03) at Catch, Shoreditch. Hannah Waldron and I are going to be producing collaborative drawings throughout the evening... Come along!

Duke Press Launch

The launch event for Duke Press takes place next tuesday evening (19/01) at Cafe Oto, Dalston. Come along! There are eight publications that make up the introductory series, including my book Dust & Shadow. You can see a gif. of the spreads from the book in the work section of my website, there is also plenty more information at the Duke Press website.

I also have some works in a group show at the GX Gallery in Camberwell. Entitled Smörgåsbord, the PV is this friday evening from 7:30, the exhibition then runs until 4/02.

NY Launch

A while ago I produced some drawings for Untitled Magazine. Launch party takes place this monday evening (02/11) at the Ace Hotel, New York City. Photos to come soon.

Newspaper

I have work featured in the latest publication produced by the gallery and project space 20 Hoxton Square. The cover image is taken from their current exhibition Gold Book Series, a solo show by Laurence Owen.

Dust & Shadow / Giclée Prints

Two images taken from a book I have produced for Duke Press, entitled 'Dust & Shadow'. It is going to print later this week, ready for launch later in the year.
